Shelter choices for Canyon households

Canyon has both established neighborhoods and newer subdivisions. Older homes often suit garage floor or in-ground retrofits, while new builds can include a safe room.

Student rentals and university housing are common in Canyon. Renters should talk to the property owner before any shelter work, because installation changes the property and needs the owner's agreement and any required permit.
